3 years later, pedestrians (and cyclists) did not gain right of passage across Cook Street

That was 3 years ago. In this post I wrote:

Ah yes. That was eerily prescient. The cycling team got the chop, and this project (and many others) languished. See also the Greater Auckland post. This stuff has real consequences.

Meanwhile, ever more apartments come up in this area. Sugartree finished, and would anyone be surprised if I told you those businesses on the ground floor died?
