Bold façade

In the newspaper a while ago: The new mall in Newmarket at 277 Broadway.

Expect dramatic entrance ways, soaring facades, glass double-level over-bridges and a dramatic, glittering temple to retail and leisure activity.

What is that? A levee? Border wall?

A street frontage. Oh come on, seriously?

That’s 2 entirely dead street edges. If you think people are looking like little ants between that big wall and that big roadway, you’d be correct, and it is a good indication of how walking on a street like that feels.

Or maybe this is just a concept and the grey area is a placeholder for something… But then again, I used to live on Hobson Street, and the Sky City building and police station actually look like that on street level. Either way, this is embarrassing.
